Irma Roche O'Dea's hair and dress in this confirmed Tonnesen photo lead me to believe that the original painting shown in the preceding image also originated as a photo by Tonnesen. The dress's lacy underslip seems to match that worn by Irma in the painting, and the identical hairstyle suggests that both photos may date to the same sitting.
