This is a 1926 calendar print. Creation dates generally, but not always, are at least two years earlier than the calendar date. The collie and hat seem to be the ones featured in Tonnesen's photo "On the Way" which was painted by RA Fox and re-titled "The Barefoot Boy." The boy looks about the same age here as he does in "The Barefoot Boy." (See catalog album 1, image 4.) 9-29-CTle.
