'Miss Coquette', shown on a 1931 calendar and signed 'Tonneson', not 'Tonnesen'. Why the variation in spelling? I don't know, but this is, indeed, by our Miss Tonnesen. The original photo, titled 'The Coquette', and hand-signed Beatrice Tonnesen, is part of The Oshkosh Public Museum's Tonnesen Archive. Incidentally, I have one other print in my collection that is signed Tonneson in the same script and another that is hand-signed (printed) Tonneson.
