'The Barefoot Boy', shown on a 1931 calendar. This print appears on page 108 of Rita C. Mortenson's book 'R. Atkinson Fox, Volume 2' (Copyright 1992, L&W Book Sales: Gas City, IN). Mortenson notes the print is signed. She also shows a variation of the print titled 'Warm Friends,' in which the boy's clothes and the background have been changed. She notes that 'Warm Friends' bears the attribution 'Reproduced from original canvas by R.A. Fox.' But, the original black and white photo of the exact boy and dog in 'The Barefoot Boy' exists in the Tonnesen Archive of the Oshkosh Museum.
